Join Lumpen Radio at the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon • October 11, 2026

Lumpen Radio (WLPN-LP 105.5FM) is Chicago’s independent radio station dedicated to amplifying underrepresented voices and stories. We provide a platform for artists, activists, youth reporters, cultural workers, and multilingual communities to share music, journalism, and conversations that rarely reach commercial media. Broadcasting from Bridgeport and streaming worldwide, Lumpen Radio collaborates with grassroots organizations, educational and cultural institutions and to cover local issues, immigrant justice, mutual aid, and creative expression across the city. Listener support helps us train emerging media makers, expand community reporting, and strengthen a more diverse and equitable media ecosystem in Chicago.

Registration Fees and Fundraising minimums

Runners will pay their entry fee for the application into the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. In exchange for a guaranteed entry into the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon, runners must reach a minimum fundraising goal of $2,200.

Join our team and you’ll receive:

• Guaranteed entry into the 2026 Bank of America Chicago Marathon (runners are required to purchase their entry)

• A Lumpen Radio Team t-shirt and a lot of Lumpen Radio swag

• Individualized donation pages for runners and fundraising assistance to help you reach your goal!

• Pre-race dinner with the team
