About the DJs:

Sandra A. Treviño is a Chicago-based arts journalist, cultural curator, and vinyl selector dedicated to amplifying the sounds and movements that have shaped alternative music and creative communities within the Latine diaspora. Sandra’s radio broadcasts explore the stories behind the records, connecting across genres, generations, and geographic locations, while exploring sound as memory and archive. She is the founder of Enchufate.com and forms part of Chicago collectives Future Rootz and The Ponderers.

For decades, Osvaldo Cuevas has used music as a way to tell stories across borders. As the host of Bi-Lengua Radio since 2016, he curates eclectic journeys through jazz, hip-hop, rock and sounds from around the world, weaving together conversations about culture, identity, and connection in many languages. Based in Chicago and working as both a filmmaker and photographer, he brings a documentarian’s eye and a storyteller’s instinct to everything he does. His work is driven by curiosity, discovery, and love.
