Jerry Mead-Lucero

Jerry Mead-Lucero is the host and producer of Labor Express Radio. He has served in that capacity since 2004 when he took over from the original host of Labor Express Radio, Wayne Heimbach who launched the program in 1994. Jerry has been a labor activist, educator, immigrant's rights activist and environmental justice organizer for over 30 years. He has been a member of several unions including the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW), the National Writers Union (NWU) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). He occasionally writes from national labor publications like Labor Notes.
