Lumpen Radio Presents:
25 Years of News From the Service Entrance
Hosted by Mario Smith
Join us as we celebrate 25 years of News From the Service Entrance, one of Chicago’s longest-running independent radio programs, with a special live anniversary broadcast in front of a studio audience.
For a quarter century, News From the Service Entrance has brought together music, culture, politics, and the voices of people working to build a more just and creative city. This milestone celebration will feature an extraordinary lineup of special guests, from global musical pioneers and hip-hop legends to journalists, artists, organizers, and civic leaders helping shape Chicago today.
Throughout the evening, expect lively roundtable conversations, exclusive live musical performances, and highlights from our 25-year archive, including reflections and testimonials from some of the remarkable guests who have joined the program over the years.
The live broadcast will air from 6:00–8:00 PM on WLPN-LP 105.5 FM and stream worldwide at lumpenradio.com. Following the broadcast, guests are invited to stay for a reception and celebration until 9:00 PM.
