Tech Talk Radio:

Tech Scene Chicago is an independently produced talk radio show produced by Tech Month Chicago and hosted by Melanie Adcock. The Tech Scene Chicago Radio show is geared toward the public and discusses how they can become part of the local "tech scene" by giving them the scoop on available technology related events they can attend in their area. Tech Scene Chicago serves as a subsidiary entity of Tech Month Chicago (a non-profit organization) to help further their mission of advocacy awareness and outreach of S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering. Arts, and Mathematics) throughout the city of Chicago.

Melanie Adcock has over a decade of experience working in the Chicago technology industry as a tech focused sales and marketing expert. She has been an Assistant Editor of a technology newsletter and is very passionate about technology diversity. Her goal with Tech Scene Chicago is to bridge the gap between technology and culture throughout Chicago and to make the local tech industry scene accessible to a wider audience.

Melanie is also the founder of Tech Month Chicago, a month long series of events on S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) geared toward citizens of Chicago that happens every June. She has a Master's Degree in Art and in her free time she makes drawings and designs costumes. She also loves cooking for her partner, Bryan Sperry, and taking care of her cat, Sugar Plum. She lives and works in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood in the heart of the Chicago Arts District.
